Transitive and intransitive verbs are actions verbs. In sentences with transitive verbs, the action is transferred from the subject to a direct object. In sentences with intransitive verbs, the subject does the action to or by itself. Activities in this lesson include identifying types of verbs, sorting sentences, completing sentences, and finding sentences parts (subject, verb, direct object, adverbs, prepositions). The lesson ends with a 10 question interactive quiz.
