Foldables are a great way to keep students interested in note-taking. They are also a great revision aid.

I was using a foldable for the first time with my grade 6 English class, and I wanted to walk them through it on the board, before setting them to work with paper and scissors. I couldn't find an existing way to demonstrate foldables using Mimio, so I made 3 templates.

Foldables template 1 uses a reveal tool. It's the simplest way I found, but it doesn't look much like an actual paper foldable.

Foldables template 2 uses hyperlinks. It goes through the 6 folds one by one and ends with all the folds opened. This is helpful if you want to leave all the information on the board for students to copy. I have also uploaded an example file (about 5 paragraph essays), to demonstrate its use.

Foldables template 3 also uses hyperlinks. This template allows you to open each fold individually.

Editing the templates is very simple - just edit the text in the textboxes.
