Thanks for the comment! You can definitely change the background. For the minerals part,the white background allowed me to keep most of the embedded pictures from having a border. As for the rock section - my collaborator is an Virginia Tech fan, and maroon is one of Tech's colors!

This is a great lesson for interactive whiteboards. I also like the objectives and hints on every page. I wish the background was a bit more flashy- it would show up like it would if I wrote it on my whiteboad. I can't wait to share this with my collegues :)
