Intro to Money

Total views: 1947

In this activity the students will look at pictures of real coins front and back to help them become more familiar with the defining characteristics. There is also an example of one of the state quarters to show the difference between the standard and the state varieties. Students will use the mimiopad or teach pen to drag and drop the appropriate coins needed to purchase various objects, bear, crayons, fruit etc. The price of the objects stops at 13 cents. This is intended for PreK and Kindergarteners just being introduced to money.
