Computer Buzzwords and Parts

Total views: 1875

A presentation for fifth and sixth grade students using graphics and being interactive to help them learn the language of computers and technology on a basic level.

This would more than likely take me one 50 min. class period to go over. I would then make up Flashcards on the web site, http://www.flashcardmachine.com/ and post the URL on my Web Page for the students to study from. We would also review during class for several days before being tested.

For the test I would use Quia.com, a web based site where a teachers can create their own educational games, quizzes, class Web pages, surveys, and much more! It allows me to include graphics and also grades the tests for me!

Lesson has great information

Lesson has great information and images. This could be used with several age groups. Would prefer more interactivity pages with the students.

Computer Parts and Buzzwords

I could definitely see using this with my 5th graders. I think it would help them to understand the inside of the computer not just the exterior! Thank you!

Computer Buzzwords and Parts

To beginners, this is a great lesson. I could use this for an older group of people who are just starting to learn how to use computers. It is simple, to the point, and easy to follow with some interaction to help peak interest and make it interesting. Thanks for sharing this with us.
