Summary:

Students read the number story and then move the appropriate number of crayons into the crayon box. Find out how many there are all together...pop the bubble to see if you're right! Pages can easily be unlocked to customize stories to your own students. Make up your own stories with the additional practice pages at the end!

Colorful and Appealing

This is a terrific lesson for beginning word problems. The activating activity is a great way to get students moving. If YouTube is blocked at your school, you will need to edit the lesson. I like the way color words are used in the lesson.
