Solving a Systems of Equations by Graphing

Total views: 2008
Summary:

I used this lesson, along with guided notes, to teach my students how to solve a system of equations by graphing. I had the students come to the board and draw their own examples of parallel lines, intersecting lines, and same lines. I then had them graph the lines in different colors and tell me where they intersected. The students enjoyed the high level of student involvement during the lesson.

Good resource, but could use

Good resource, but could use some tweeks. Maybe add a backgroud color and some clips from TI's graphing calc you can put on your computer.
I could see making a few adjustments and using this in my class.
Thanks
