This lesson for environmental science includes the factors that characterize the various types of aquatic biomes. Lesson includes the characteristics of different types of standing-water ecosystems and flowing-water ecosystems. Designed for a collaborative (general education/special education) high school environmental science class, the lesson is designed to span several days. Students will participate in several activities, view relevant video clips, and answer questions using the MimioVote system.

Freshwater Lesson

Thank you for constructing this! I just started mimio and this will be useful to get the students use to using the mimiovote I just received. I teach high school ecology and I haven't found much so far for that age level. When I begin building my own notebook files I will share the content so you can download. You covered much what I do. I will add my vocabulary words like estuary, eutrophication, non-point and point source pollution, raparian, etc.
