Screen Annotating a PDF File

Tracy Tishion's picture

I'd like to write on a PDF file. Do I use the screen annotation to do this? I'd like to repeat this and re-write on it for each one of my classes. Can you erase a screen annotation?

There are a couple of ways to write on the PDF file. You can insert the PDF file directly into a notebook page from wherever you have it stored on your computer. Just click on Insert>File on a notebook page and locate the stored file. You can re-insert the page with each class or simply erase the mark ups on the one page you inserted. Another option would be to simply open a PDF file outside of the notebook page but have your toolbar open to activate the screen annotation mode, which allows you to mark up the file. Remember that screen annotations are automatically saved in your gallery for future reference. You can even annotate the file with a certain class name which can be printed off for students to have a copy. You'll be amazed with the many possibilities and creative ways to use the MimioStudio's screen annotation. As always, if you get the chance, peruse the many other tips and suggestions that can be found in MimioConnect's Ask a Master.
