Tic Tac Math Operations Interactive!

Total views: 8274
Summary:

Kids love to play Tic Tac Toe because it's fun, moves pretty quickly and they have a chance to win. Kids don't always like to work on math fact flashcards, but they do work well to really anchor those math facts.

Tic Tac Math Operations, Interactive uses the fun part of Tic Tac Toe to sneak-in some learning while kids compete alone against the computer, another player or on teams. To play, students may choose from addition, subtraction, multiplication or division. And finally, they choose from one, two or three digit numbers to work with.

Then, let the fun and learning begin!

IPMG is for profit. That is true, but....

The link that was posted allows anyone to play the game with an internet connection on a Mimio for as long as they want, for FREE. If they would like to use it off-line, you are correct, credits must be purchased. This will remain true even as www.iplaymathgames.com continues to add more interactive games in the future.

Link is okay from what I can tell.

Hi Sue,

Thanks for taking a look. If you go down just a bit further on the page, you can see where the game is. It is asking you to pick your operation, the next screen will you ask you to choose the number of players and, finally, the level of equation difficulty. Then you may play the game right on the site. It does not switch to it's own screen or anything like that, it just runs right on the site and you may play it as long as you, or your kids, would like to. Soon, Tic Tac Math Fractions will be introduced and that will run in the same environment. I hope that this helps.

Incidentally, your comments help to make www.iplaymahtgames.com a better site. Would it be better if this were at the top of the page and the option to download it beneath it? Just curious about your opinion.

Thanks!

Hmmm...

If you go to www.iplaymathgames.com, after you land, select "interactive games" from the menu bar near the top of the page. On that page, the game runs near the bottom. It has 4 boxes that say "addition", "subtraction", "multiplication" and "division." Pick one and you should then be asked to select the number of players and then the degree of difficulty. Does whatever you are trying to run this on recognize Flash? I know that on the iPad, the game does not show up on the web page (but it does on the iPad itself, because of the cool Tic Tac Math app for the iPad http://itunes.apple.com/us/artist/ipmg-publishing/id356838921)

Sorry for the trouble that you are having. Hopefully we'll get it figured out and then it won't happen to anyone else. Thanks a lot for your persistence.

In case you're interested, today we just finalized the architecture for the fractions module for Tic Tac Math. It's going to be a great learning tool that your kids will love! And people tell us that most kids, and many adults, struggle with fractions.

Thanks again, Sue. And please let me know if I may be of service in any way.

iplaynathgames.com is a PAY site

These games appear good, but the website is a for-profit company. You purchase "credits" (1 credit=10 cents) to "buy" the games. The Tic-Tac game costs 50 credits ($5.00). Just a heads-up!
