Figurative Language Concentration Game

Total views: 8284

The students get a quick practice of figurative language. They must match the word with it's correct example. When a correct match is made you can simply delete the text boxes to show the picture of the beach in the background. When all the boxes are gone and the complete picture is shown, I have the students do a writing prompt from the picture using figurative language. I require them to use 4-6 of the different types we've discussed.
