Lesson Renovation: Pocket Charts Galore!

Total views: 4279
Summary: The newest Lesson Renovation should excite many younger grade ELA teachers as we have completely RENOVATED our pocket chart lessons, which originally came about when a MimioConnect user like YOU requested help in creating an interactive pocket chart!

The activity here is a simple, interactive pocket chart where students move letter cards to create CVC (consonant-vowel-consonant) or CCVC and CVCC words. The lessons include sound recordings for each word so that students and teachers can hear the word before creating it. NEW to the renovated lessons is a column where students can use the letters to make their own words in the pocket chart. Plus, you sill have the freedom to adapt this to meet your classroom needs. Thank you to our MC user for having the idea behind this great activity!

If you've previously downloaded the Pocket Charts, be sure to check out each of the versions below as they've been refreshed and rejuvenated for a new look!

Lessons created by Claire Pavia and Lindy George.
