The light on my MimioTeach is an amber color and I can't get it to calibrate at all. Any suggestions?
1. Open Mimio Settings in the software. Go to Classroom Devices.
2. You will see the MimioHub listed. (if it’s not there, the MimioHub is not in a USB port)
3. Hold down the status light (button) for about 5-7 seconds. It will start flashing amber and you will see MimioTeach appear on your list of Classroom Devices. It will say “available.”
4.Select the device and click Connect.
5.The Status light on the MimioTeach will turn solid green.

Is there a limit to how many questions you can ask on a MimioVote test?
The MimioStudio Toolbar allows you to easily add content to your MimioStudio Notebook such as: rectangles, squares, triangles, circles, lines, and more. You can even make objects in your lessons transparent by using the MimioStudio Shape and Line Tools.
The short video below will demonstrate where you can find the Shape and Line Tools on your MimioStudio Toolbar. The video also reveals how these simple shapes and lines can be used in your lessons to enhance student interaction and engagement.
The Shape and Line Tools can be found under the 3rd icon to the right on the MimioStudio toolbar. By right-clicking on that icon, you will bring up a drop-down menu of shapes, as well as line/arrow choices for your lessons. Choose a shape, choose your color for both the interior and exterior, then click and drag on your Mimio page to create your shape. Experiment with shapes and lines to add interest to your lessons!
If you would like to learn even more about the MimioStudio Line and Shape Tools and take your skills to the next level, you might be interested in attending our MimioStudio Basics I: A Tour of MimioStudio Quick Learn session. This one hour training session is available for credit in both an on-demand and live format.

I have a MimioTeach and MimioVote system. I am trying to create a lesson using the voting clickers but when I bring in a question from the gallery box it doesn't bring a vote toolbar. How do I get the toolbar?
Press and hold the status light on the MimioVote charging tray until it begins to blink (approximately 5-10 seconds). Open Mimio Notebook.
Select the Tools menu, then select Settings.
Select Classroom Devices - the MimioVote should show as Available under the Status column. Select MimioVote from the list and then select the Connect button. The MimioVote status should change to Connected. You should see a steady green light on the MimioVote charging tray when it is connected correctly to your computer. You can pair your MimioTeach to your computer in the same way - using the same MimioHub.
In order to get the most out of your MimioVote system, I highly recommend our free Mimio Quick Learn sessions. Click here for more information about the next scheduled Quick Learn session on the MimioVote assessment system.
