I've a Mimio and it doesn't support Windows 7 dual screen. My set up is having one PC with dual output graphics card connected to 2 projectors. During calibration, it only allows one of the screen to be calibrated BUT NOT both. Consequently, I cannot use an extended desktop setting in Mimio.
I'm really desperate for a fix on this. Is there anyway I can contact Mimio software developer? Can I hack Mimio's registry to fix this? Or is there any other way to hack Mimio to support Windows 7 dual screen mode? This is urgent.

I have a capture kit in my 3rd grade classroom but do not really know what to do with it! I would love to hear from others about ways that they incorporate this technology into their lessons. Share ways that you use the capture kit and what types of lessons you do with it.

Are there any Art Teachers out there with Mimios in their classrooms? How has having access to this type of technology changed they way you teach?

Greetings all,
I hail from Australia and have not been able to contact mimio via their Australian phone line. I have a few questions that may go beyond general knowledge.
First of all, we have a screen that is 2.4 x 1.2 metres in size. double the width than what it was before. I would like to learn more about what hardware I have as I am moving into this job.
1) On the underside of the mimio device, the model number shows DMA-02, which year is this?
2) Are there any newer models going to be released in the near future?

I'm wondering if there is a way to annotate directly onto a keynote or powerpoint presentation (or quicktime movie) when it is in presentation mode. I have spent A LOT of time making keynote presentations for each of my Calculus lessons and I want to be able to "write" on the keynote presentation while my class is viewing it. I really don't want to have to re-create all of my lessons in Mimio Notebook.
I've read the manual but I haven't been able to find a way to do this. Any ideas?

I have an eMac at home with mimio studio 6.21 and the Recognize Ink feature does not work. This is the same version that I use at school. Any ideas about this? I found the same issue with Text Tools. I only get the Keyboard at home, but I have the keyboard and writing pad at school.

Is there is better way to enter equations into mimio? Currently, when I have to enter polynomials or quadratic equations that I want in an ink file I need to have microsoft word open, use its equation editor, and use a screen clipping. Is there any easier way? Is this something that the mimio engineers could work on to include with the mimio updates?
