Subtraction with animals.

Tell a short story while doing subtraction and moving the animals away. Then teach students how to use subtraction math cards for a center. This activity can be set up for them to do on their own once teacher has shown them.

TAKS/STAAR Baseball Review

A review for the TAKS (soon to be STAAR) test (this game has 6th grade math questions but can be adapted for any grade and subject). Students play baseball and advance to the bases or "catch a fly ball" by answering TAKS questions from the 2004 TAKS test.
