This is a slide that should be posted as the students arrive. It lists the morning routine and has an attendance taker activity. Each student moves his or her name from the circle to the lunch columns. This slide can me modified to reflect your schools policy and procedure. It is a great way to take attendance without the students being involved. After they have completed the morning tasks the teacher can simply and quietly take attendance based on the names that remain in the circle.

Morning Routine and Attendance

Thank you for the brief but effective ink file. I work with low function special eduation students, and I will be modifying this ink to use in the classroom. I think I am going to add some multimedia to really get the students to want to use it...
