"Get Out the Vote!" - Meet the Candidates

Ready to “get out the vote?” Using MimioVote assessment is particularly appropriate when teaching about the 2012 elections. The Presidential and Congressional elections are in the news, in the media, and in everyday conversations, so even the youngest students are motivated to learn about them. Teaching about the elections is also a fresh way to cover state and local standards.

In this lesson, students will learn about the 2012 Presidential candidates through a variety of fun and engaging interactive activities . Be sure to download the appropriate grade leveled lesson to suit your classroom needs.

Correction

I noticed on the 3rd-6th grade lesson there was an error in the answers on the last slide.
Otherwise, I LOVED the lesson. It was perfect for my students to gain a broad understanding of the presidential candidates before the election.
