I have been turned on to the POGIL (Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning) after attending an AP Chemistry workshop. This is a proven method to enhance success and retention in science but also other areas. Students work together in small groups to solve problems presented in activities. I think this style of learning and instruction fits like a glove with everything Mimio and I'm excited to make yet another change to find ways to reach my students even better. I'm curious to hear from others that might know about and use this process along with the sharing of resources so that we all could benefit, no matter what subject. It's all about engaging students and getting them to think and apply ideas in new ways. Would love to hear from you!

I get asked quite a bit about how to incorporate interactive Flash files into lessons. I have found it to be short of a hobby to actively search out useful Flash programs and save them for future use. They are amazing to tie into any mimio lesson. I have provided a method that I routinely use in the Ask a Master section but wanted to see if any of you have other simpler methods of getting "Flashy" with it. I've seen longer more step intensive methods, but figure there's other ways out there. Share if you have something. :)
