Resumen:

This lesson can be used for a unit on nutrition. Students identify vegetables and those that grow above and below ground. Students will move vegetables into the garden, moving those that grow above ground. Students will then make soup with the vegetables that grow below ground.

great use of ordering!

I like this activity because it uses the simplest form of Mimio feedback--ordering--to figure out the correct answer. In addition, the use of the pot of soup is great because it helps to connect prior knowledge (eating soup) with the new concept (where vegetables grow). Outstanding!
