Kids say the darndest things

I love working with kids. I love hearing their impressions of the world, and how they think things work. This topic is dedicated to the cute, funny, interesting or thought-provoking things kids say in class. Please add to it!

"Do these computers have a D: drive? Because there's a Tarzan game on the D: drive"

"Can we learn about space? I have a book about space but I can't read it yet"

"But that's silly!" and "That's so rude!" when I was teaching Grade 1's about Apartheid

And the question that I couldn't answer this week: "where do coloured people come from? I heard they come from when a white person and a black person have a baby"
