Downloading problems

Any of these Galleries work whether you are a Windows or Mac user. These are Gallery files as they end in .mcf. Once you click on the link, you are asked to Save the file. Save to your Desktop making sure to keep the .mcf file extension. Open mimio Studio and then open your Gallery. Once the Gallery is open, double-click on the downloaded Gallery file and it will automatically be imported into your Gallery. You'll find it in a folder titled "mimioconnect" and a subfolder inside will contain the science pack in this case. Happy exploring!

Downloading Problems

Once you have downloaded and saved the file, you must open your Gallery in mimio Studio. Once this is done, double-click the downloaded Gallery file and it gets imported into your Gallery. This particular file gets placed inside of a "mimioconnect" folder that should appear near the top of your Gallery listing. You'll find a Science folder inside and you should be ready to explore.

Science Pack location

Once this gallery is installed, you can find it in your mimio Gallery in a folder titled "mimioconnect". You'll see the Science Resource Pack there. You see folders of Animals, Chemistry, Earth Science, and Plants. In the multimedia tab of this folder, you'll find the Owl Pellet Dissection, Periodic Table, Plant and Animal Cell activity, and a couple activities involving volcano formatin and locations. From the top Gallery folder, you can always do a search for anything in your gallery including things you've put in. Simply type in what you are looking for (i.e. Owl pellet) and it will find it. For those of you that are new to your Gallery, you'll soon find once you become familiar with how it is setup and what you can do, it is pretty easy to get what you want.

Activating mimio Studio

In order to use any Gallery items including the Science Pack, you need to have an activated copy of mimio Studio. The software will run as you say but there are a couple features that won't and the Gallery is one of those. To activate, you need to enter the activation key that is located on your CD case that came with your mimio product. It will start with STU-. You enter this code in mimio Studio by clicking Help > About mimio Studio. You'll see a button in the window saying Activate. Click here and enter your code and all features will be fully functional. If you don't have a CD case this means that you probably don't have a mimio product and/or you downloaded the free software from mimio.com. If someone in your building has a mimio product, you can use that same activation key as the license allows for unlimited use in your building. These are the only ways to activate your copy. Hope this helps and let me know if you have any questions.
