mimio Power Tools Pack v1
The mimio Power Tools Pack v1 contains three different tools that will add power to your mimio lessons:
* Pop Reveal
Place a balloon over content and click to pop to reveal it. Click again to blow the balloon back up to hide the content. Available in a range of candy-flavored colors.
* Write Reveal
Place square multi-colored reveals over content and then click-drag to draw on the reveal itself. Click the shaded bar to reveal your content underneath. Use to encourage contribution before checking answers.
* Answer Reveal
These invisible reveals can be placed over content to make anything instantly interactive. Click to get feedback (right/wrong) and click again to reset. Great for self-guided interactive Q&A activities.
The mimio Power Tools Pack v1 comes with an overview file explaining each tool and providing examples of how to use them in interactive lessons.

Maybe I am nuts but I can't seem to get all of the options to download or I don't know where to look for them. I can find the 4 Reveal but not the other options. |

Oops, pressed a wrong button and did not get my ideas down before I sent~sorry. Anyway, thanks for asking for suggestions. I have a couple, what about: Consonant Dice/Vowel Dice - I would like to be able to set up a Boggle Board with the mimio for different spelling activities. Some way to flip shapes rather than just moving them with the arrow. Infinite cloning - I know that this is on SmartBoards and love using it! Flipping - Is there a way you can flip a card to get to an answer? I hope some of these ideas are possible. Thanks for your efforts. |

Downloads: 8 Why can't I see the Power Tool Pack when I open Mimio...
After visiting the Power Pack Tools and opening the pack, the above attachment section says I did download the pack. But when I open my Mimio Notebook, the pack isn't there. Can it be saved with my Mimio so I can use it each time, or do I have to come back to this site and then open it up each time? Sorry, I just started using Mimio this week at my school. Thanks! |

Did someone answer your question yet? If you have your Mimio studio open in the background, and download the Power Tools pack, it should go right in (and stay in) your Gallery-you have a new "sub-folder" in your gallery called "Power Tools Pack". It was a while ago when I did it....if that didn't work, download it to your desktop, then at the very top of your gallery click on "Import". Good luck and have fun! |

Itcho_ittan, I did the same thing and couldn't get it to work...then I clicked on import content on the top of the mimio gallery and imported it. VOLIA..it was there...try that and see if it works. |

This may not be a tool as such but I know it would make the lives of teachers especially those implimenting the numeracy project in New Zealand easier... A dice we can change the numbers on OR a spinner that when you change the number of sections on it actually stays set at that many number of divisions. I have asked my Mimio rep often and she said she has asked but now I'm putting it out in the open for everyone :o) |

I would really like to see a grouping feature on Mimio. An option to put student names or pictures in slots, then telling the feature that I want 6 groups. then have the feature randomize the groups. |

I can think of a million uses for this. I give tickets when students are caught doing something right. I can put their names in here instead of worring about them keeping up with their tickets! Awesome...thanks for sharing! |
