Summary:

This lesson teaches students the properties and movements of Earth's moon. Moon phases are described, and students participate in several activities to reinforce the correct order of the moon phases. Lunar and Solar Eclipses are described and students engage in corresponding activities. Vocabulary development and MimioVote questions reinforce the concepts taught.

This is a great lesson.

This lesson is very well done. The use of vote questions and interactivity for students keeps it interesting. The information flows and is for students to understand. Thanks for the great lesson.

In Depth Moon Lesson!

Great Interactives!

I love the new moon phase section you put in--Moon phases are always difficult to teach to students but I think this year will be a success with these interactives and extra practice. Thanks!

Even though this file is above my grade level there are many parts of it that I can use with my third graders. I really liked the videos that were included.
