Summary:
Ready to “get out the vote?” Using MimioVote assessment is particularly appropriate when teaching about the 2012 elections. The Presidential and Congressional elections are in the news, in the media, and in everyday conversations, so even the youngest students are motivated to learn about them. Teaching about the elections is also a fresh way to cover state and local standards.
In this lesson, students will learn about different kinds of polls used to gather information for the Presidential election through a variety of fun and engaging interactive activities. Be sure to download the appropriate grade leveled lesson to suit your classroom needs.
