Factoring practice

Summary:

This lesson will provide practice in factoring trinomials. The leading coefficient in each problem is 1. There is one page which has binomials which are the difference of two squares.

You may use all of the pages in one day but I like to use one or two in a day as a bell ringer or just a little practice at the end of class.

Algebra-Factoring

I really like this activity. It is very creative but also gives lots of practice. I like how students can work the problem then reveal the answer under the line. I do like the idea of using one page as a quick warm-up activity at the beginning or end of class.

Factoring Lesson

excellent lesson!! I am a big fan of the hiding the solutions in the different colored backgrounds. This lesson will work nicely 2nd semester in my class.
