Lesson Focus: Student-Centered, Observable, and Measurable Objectives

Throughout this lesson you will find examples of how to incorporate learning objectives in your Mimio .INK files. Wondering why you might do that? Here are a couple of reasons:

  • to help your students understand expected learning outcomes
  • to help colleagues use your lesson instantly when you share it with them
  • to better focus yourself as you teach

A-MAZ-ING!

This lesson is one of the most amazing ones I have seen! I was searching for resources for my husband, who teachers Middle School History/Social Studies because I am helping him integrate Mimio into his lessons. This lesson is so engaging, clearly aligned to objectives, and so well-presented, it's the first one I am going to show him to peak his interest in Mimio!
THANK YOU for sharing your outstanding work!

objectives

Paul,
The objectives in this lesson really allow teachers to follow your original intent in creating this lesson. Hopefully others can see the importance of adding learning objectives to any page that requires interaction.

Does anyone want instruction on adding learning objectives to your lessons? There are quite a few video tutorials on MimioConnect! Search "objectives" and you'll find some, including this one: http://www.mimioconnect.com/content/lesson/mmlb_pd_introduction_objectives

Great lesson, Paul!
