Summary:Although Galileo had no access to a vacuum chamber, and of course never made it to the Moon, he nevertheless correctly predicted how falling objects would behave in the absence of air resistance. In this video segment from NASA, astronaut David Scott demonstrates the correctness of Galileo's prediction.
